Lucas Labrador Retriever Baby - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Naperville, Illinois

$100

Please take the time to read the bio before emailing us. The process to meet this pup is provided in the below information. If your seeing this post, this pup is still looking for a home so no need to email us asking if he is available. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

This handsome boy is Lucas. We think he was born around 1-8-18 and weighs 10-15 pounds as of 3-23-18. Our best guess is that he will grow to be around 50-70 pounds. We think he may be mixed with Border Collie and Lab, but that is also just a guess. Lucas is a sweetheart and a very friendly boy!!! As you can see, he loves, loves his toys, his bones, and he's fabulous with other dogs. We don't know about kitties as the foster doesn't have any. There is no food, toy or bone guarding that has been observed.

He does well in his crate, and he's doing well on his house training, but he is a puppy so that will come in time. He had some very dry skin when he arrived, so we've been giving him fish oil, which has really helped.

Lucas needs

a family who has the time to continue with house training and socialization with people and other dogs. Lucas came to us from a high intake shelter in Kentucky.

Lucas is too young to be fixed at this time. He will adopted under a neuter contract. We will provide you with a coupon to have the pup fixed at one of our vets at our cost. There is a fully refundable $100.00 neuter check required.

We hold the check "hostage". Once the pup is fixed, we will void the check. Neutering is a mandatory requirement of the adoption.

This pup is being fostered in an Oswego, IL foster home, which is where you and your family would go to meet him. All family members, including 4-legged dogs, must be present at the meet and greet to adopt.

In order to schedule a meet and greet, please complete the online adoption application which can be found on-line at ://angelsonwheels.org/canine-adoption-application/

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes:

Neuter when old enough
Microchipped

Dewormed with Panacur and repeated 2 weeks later
Given Albon

Given Metronidazole
Given Flea preventative upon arrival
Given Doxy for Kennel cough which he is now recovered from
Vet Checked
Up to date with DHPP puppy vaccination
Rabies Vaccination if over 4 months
Free Health Exam to one of our participating vets

Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters or are strays, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. Breed and weight at maturity are only guesses. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this this post, this puppy is available for adoption so there is no need to email asking about availability.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
